Situation:
A global pharmaceutical company wanted to grow its existing minority supply base and increase its presence and commitment to the diverse communities it serves. 

Solution:
The pharmaceutical company's Diversity Supplier Development worked with ASG to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive Mentoring Program featuring:

• A detailed Process Guide and training materials for both the mentor and minority suppliers being mentored (the "mentee")
• A baseline assessment process/tool to reveal strengths and weaknesses in the mentee's business operations, which provided the basis for creating a comprehensive mentoring plan specifically tailored to each individual suppliers operations and situation

Result:
Fifteen minority businesses participated in the Mentoring Program and are actively pursuing improvement actions. The Mentoring Program has also won numerous awards from Minority Business Development groups and organizations across North America.
