Case Study -Translating Customer Wants into Product Features

Situation:
With its teams dispersed around the globe, the Special Projects Office of a major Fortune 100 company struggled with communicating, managing and coordinating its product development efforts.

Solution:
ASG conducted interviews with key system users to define desired system functionality and worked with the IT department to create and implement a Web-based project management portal, which allows for:

  • "real-time" access to update project status and deliverables information from any Internet access point
  • Project status visibility for both the team and senior management, streamlining non-value add activities in the reporting process

Result:
The Web-based project management portal offered increased project communication, productivity, and significantly reduced the non-value added activities in the process.
