Situation:
The Natural Gas Vehicle Producers Association (NGVPA) was in need of expertise and support from an OEM to develop and demonstrate the performance capability of a natural gas powered mid-size car.

Solution:
ASG was able to leverage their product design and development capabilities and relationships with a domestic OEM to secure a demonstration fleet, as well as provide expertise on:

•  Designing, developing, testing and certifying the vehicle platform for natural gas systems retro-fit installation
•  Meeting all the program requirements with prototype vehicles (5 in total), including development testing and durability vehicles, as well as safety/crash test units all within a 12-month development program.

Result:
The NGVPA was able to work in conjunction with ASG and OEM fleet marketing to produce and sell vehicles to small fleets for evaluation and infrastructure development purposes.
